At Antamina,<\/strong> located in the Andes mountains at an altitude of 4,500 metres above sea level, Torsa has installed its devices on 12 P&H 4100 XPC mining shovels\u2014among the largest in the world\u2014as well as on 180 of the industry\u2019s biggest haul trucks, each with a capacity of over 300 tonnes, and on auxiliary vehicles used for cleaning, digging, and site preparation tasks.<\/p>\n Torsa<\/strong> has been working closely with the Antamina mining company for over four years, and its equipment installed in the fleet has now surpassed 140,000 hours of uninterrupted operation.<\/p>\n Torsa\u2019s<\/strong> president, Mariano Barroso, stated: \u201cWe are very proud of the award and of the trust Antamina has placed in us over the years. But above all, we are proud to have brought our engineering technology to one of the largest mines in the world\u2014producing over 430,000 tonnes annually\u2014and one of the most demanding in terms of safety protocols and systems.
