The system can either trigger a <strong>smart shutdown<\/strong> of the turbines or activate <strong>deterrent mechanisms<\/strong> to keep birds away from danger zones.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome of this project, expected to conclude within one year, will enable the creation of a <strong>service-oriented company<\/strong> tasked with delivering comprehensive solutions to eliminate bird collisions in wind farms.<\/p>\n<p>Plans also include the construction of a <strong>technology production center<\/strong> at the <strong>Andalusian Technology Park (PTA)<\/strong> in M\u00e1laga, where the devices designed for this purpose will be manufactured\u2014giving the company its own in-house production capacity.<\/p>\n<p>In this aspect, <strong>Torsa Renovables<\/strong> will work with <strong>DeTect Inc.<\/strong>, a US-based company that supplies one of the world\u2019s most advanced bird detection systems. DeTect\u2019s equipment is used by <strong>NASA<\/strong>, the <strong>U.S. Department of Defense<\/strong>, and other leading scientific and technological institutions worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Environmental organizations and associations have already expressed interest in and support for the project.
