Your work is not only innovative but invaluable to those who benefit from your creations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"347\"><strong data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"347\">Statement from Hospital 12 de Octubre:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"349\" data-end=\"466\">&#8220;Additive manufacturing activity in a hospital setting must be a safe process, just as it is in the industrial field.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"468\" data-end=\"706\">The <strong>Advanced Design and 3D Printing Technologies Unit<\/strong> at our hospital has been implemented with a focus on the safety of professionals, as well as meeting requirements in terms of climate control, electrical safety, and chemical exposure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"708\" data-end=\"978\">Since the manufacturing process using different technologies (FDM, SLA) involves the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and ultrafine particles (UFPs), it is advisable to have an O\u2082 sensor capable of detecting the oxygen concentration in the fabrication room.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"1392\">Recently, <strong data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1006\">Torsa<\/strong> has installed a monitoring station with temperature and relative humidity logging, which also includes an O\u2082 sensor. This monitoring will allow us to keep records of these three parameters, two of which are required for the implementation of the quality management system under <strong data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1298\">ISO 13485<\/strong>. This monitoring station has been exclusively designed for <strong data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1369\">UTADI3D<\/strong>, and is named <strong data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1391\">12O<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1632\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">We are proud to be the first 3D printing unit in a Spanish hospital to have this technology.
